Length issue

Hi, I bought the formal pleated wide leg trousers in the size L since the length is shown 42 which fits for me since I'm quite tall. I just received the pants today and the length is not 42 so it is quite short for me. The quality is good all other measurements are okay only issue is the length.
May I know what's the issue with the length please?
